Our lead practitioner, Lu Phoun, is the second generation legacy from a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctor family. Her mother, Dr. Xiangfeng Lu, was the Chief Physician Professor, Master Clinical Instructor, and lead member of the Hunan Acupuncture Association. While practicing at the Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Lu had developed her own unique insights, techniques and research into the treatment of common and intractable diseases.

Practicing acupuncture and Tui-na (推拿 Chinese medical massage) for over 40 years, Dr. Lu has developed cures for many of the most common ailments including muscle pain, joint pain, etc., bringing relief to thousands of patients over the course of her practice. Upon her retirement, she immigrated to the United States to train and support her daughter’s pursuits in TCM.

While studying TCM and receiving her masters degree at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine (MCOM), Ms. Phoun traveled repeatedly to China to train, witness and learn from the most skilled acupuncturists in the world. She found that while Western universities could teach acupuncture in books, only the hands-on clinical experience training with the best acupuncturists in the world truly unlocks the power of TCM.

Through 5 years of intense study, and upon receiving licensing from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental medicine (NCCAOM), Ms. Phoun was ready to found her own practice and treat patients throughout her community in Peachtree City. Meanwhile, Dr. Lu has agreed to be a consultant to her practice. It is time for mom and daughter to practice together to help people conquer their illness in a natural way and harmonic state to achieve optimal health.
